Man Utd Transfers and News: Dressing room BUST-UP, Vidal move back on, Fergie speech

MANCHESTER UNITED players have started to question manager Louis van Gaal.

Leicester v Manchester United - Van Gall

According to reports, tensions flared in the United dressing room after the shock 5-3 defeat to Leicester.

The Daily Mail claim one United player asked: "Why the f*** did we substitute [Angel] Di Maria?" after the final whistle.

British record £60million summer signing Di Maria was taken off for Juan Mata with the scores level at 3-3, with United collapsing after his withdrawal.

Right-back Rafael was also criticised by members of the Red Devils squad, with Van Gaal openly condemning the display.

Meanwhile, United could revive their interest in Juventus star Arturo Vidal.

Van Gaal was keen on a January move for Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman, but Roma insist he is not for sale.

That could see the 62-year-old turn his attention back to £40m-rated Vidal, despite lingering concerns over his the state of his knee.

Former manager Sir Alex Ferguson is focused on events elsewhere though, principally Team Europe's Ryder Cup quest.

Fergie is set to make an inspirational speech at Gleneagles tonight to Paul McGinley's men.
