JOSE MOURINHO has given Manchester United a boost in the chase for Cristiano Ronaldo, Monaco are set to make a January move for United target Bruma while Angel Di Maria has expressed his gratitude to Louis van Gaal for bringing him to Old Trafford. Elsewhere, Patrice Evra has lifted the lid on his Red Devils exit.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Portuguese winger next summer, as have the Blues.
Mourinho told TV1: "The relationship between Ronaldo and myself is non-existent."
United could be beat by Monaco to Portuguese star Bruma as the French club look to replace James Rodriguez.
The 19-year-old moved to Galatasaray from Sporting Lisbon last summer and has impressed in Turkey.
Monaco are reported to be planning a move in January, despite Bruma still having four years left on his current contract but they believe £14m may be enough to convince the Istanbul side to sell.

Angel Di Maria has revealed that Louis van Gaal's presence was a key factor behind his decision to sign for Manchester United.
The Red Devils snapped up Di Maria from Real Madrid for £59.7m and the Argentinian has expressed his delight that the Dutchman put in such an effort to secure him.
He said: "I am really grateful to him because, thanks [to] him, I am now playing for United."
The 33-year-old joined the Italian champions for a nominal fee during the summer despite signing a one-year deal in May, bringing an end to his eight-year spell in the Premier League.
He said: "I was having personal problems at Manchester United and the only team that I wanted was Juventus.
