The Gunners kept to their end of the bargain when they swept aside West Ham in a 3-1 victory at the Emirates on Tuesday.
They were then handed a massive boost in the race for fourth when Everton crashed to a surprise 3-2 defeat at home to Crystal Palace last night.
And Wenger hasn’t understated the importance of the final stretch of fixtures and believes it is important they focus on their own performances.
“We are in a period where every game has a big impact on the rest of the season,” Wenger said.

“We will prepare well for the next game and see where it takes us.
“It is a weight off our shoulders seeing what happened with Everton but there is a lot of work for us to do.
“We have a big game against Hull and mentally we are in a better shape than a week ago.”
Arsenal take on Hull at the KC Stadium which will be a dress rehearsal for next month’s FA Cup final.
