Explosive wonderkid puts pen to paper on lucrative Manchester United contract

Manchester United wonderkid Marcus Rashford has signed a new contract at Old Trafford which will significantly improve his earnings.

According to the Telegraph, the England international has been handed a long-term deal at the club, keeping him with the north-west giants for at least four years, with Rashford’s salary set to reach approximately £20,000-per-week.

The source note that that the forward had just a year left to run on his current deal, and while negotiations dragged on between player and club, the forward has finally agreed terms, and will likely surpass his stated wage due to bonuses.

The attacker burst onto the international scene on Friday evening when he scored his first goal for the Three Lions only 138 seconds after kick off in a friendly against Australia.

The youngster enjoyed a fine debut campaign at Old Trafford, and while he is yet to demonstrate the consistency that Jose Mourinho will be looking for, he showed class and maturity in front of goal to find the net against Manchester City, Arsenal and FC Midtjylland.
