Manchester United & Arsenal alerted as coach of Bundesliga superstar makes transfer gaffe

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears destined to move clubs this summer after his national team boss let slip that he was preparing for a move.

The Gabon international hit a whopping 36 goals in 45 appearances this season, and while he was pipped to the Bundesliga top scorer gong by Robert Lewandowski, he has alerted major clubs across Europe, with some of the continent’s giants desperate to recruit a consistent goalscorer.

Speaking to the media, Gabon coach Jorge Costa appears to have accidentally let slip that Auba’s on the move.

When explaining the attacker’s absence from international duty, Costa noted, as per the Daily Star: “Aubameyang asked me not to be selected because he is in the process of changing clubs.”

Intriguingly, however, the manager didn’t name prospective destinations, meaning that speculation over Auba’s future will continue to intensify.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked to the forward, although it remains to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp could tempt the hitman to Anfield without the allure of Champions League football.
