Reus Rejects United Links

Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus has insisted that he is happy at the Bundesliga club despite rumours linking him with a move to Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports.

The German international has been consistently linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion, with both United and Barcelona said to be interested in his services.

However, he has sought to wave away the speculation linking him with a move away by insisted that Dortmund is the only place he wants to be.

United Face Battle To Land Cabella

United boss David Moyes will face competition from Newcastle United over the signature of Montpellier playmaker Remy Cabella, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 23-year-old has been a long time target for the defending champions but the Magpies have sought to beat the rush by contacting the French side early on with an enquiry of their own.

Montpellier have slapped a £14m price tag on his head and with Newcastle’s French contingent already setting up camp at St James’ Park manager Alan Pardew will be hoping that Cabella will spurn a move to Old Trafford.

United Ready To Spend Big On Juve Star

Manchester United are ready to break the bank on Juventus’ Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal during the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 26-year-old was a target for David Moyes over the summer but a concrete move failed to materialise. However, the Scot has kept tabs on the player and has identified him as the ideal man to help his struggling midfield re-find their form.

However, it would require a hefty sum to prize him away from Turin as he only just put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the club last month.

United To Steal £6m Rated Star For Bargain Price

Manchester United are hopeful of stealing a deal for young Dinamo Zagreb starlet Robert Muric for just £300,000 in the coming weeks, the Independent reports.

The 17-year-old is currently valued at £6m, but is in the midst of a contract dispute with his club who are yet to offer him a professional deal. If they don’t, then United will only be required to pay a minimal fee to land his signature.

The striker was a star at Croatia’s Under-17 World Cup campaign over the summer and has garnered some significant interest in his services.
