Pep Guardiola has given a team news update ahead of Manchester City’s FA Cup third clash with Burnley on Saturday.

He said he would rotate his team but also hinted at a strong line-up for the game against Sean Dyche’s men who have had an impressive season so far.

“Vincent is not available. Gabriel is not available. Mendy is not available. Phil Foden is not available. I don’t know if David will be available.

“We have a training session at 4pm so we will see how Kyle Walker is doing. Right now I don’t know.”

Pep also spoke about David Silva who revealed earlier this week that his son Mateo had been born extremely prematurely and was “fighting day by day.”

“It’s not easy to explain how he feels. He made a statement and explained to everybody what happened. I prefer not to talk about.

“He shows on the pitch he is able to forget everything but he will decide when he has to go and when he will stay.”

Burnley boss Dyche has also said he will rotate his team after the hectic festive period, but they will still provide a tough test at the Etihad.
