Manchester City looked set to sell Eliaquim Mangala to Crystal Palace today, but the player continues to make things tough for the Blues. Mangala only wants to join Inter Milan, and even though City and Palace have agreed a £23 million deal for Mangala, he continues to refuse to move to Selhurst Park, according to David Anderson of the Mirror.

Mangala’s sale is crucial to City’s pursuit of West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans, since City will pay the £30 million asking price to sign the Baggies captain as soon as the Mangala deal goes through. With time running out for both deals to be completed, City’s hopes of signing Evans are at risk thanks to Mangala not willing to join Palace.

Please help us, Mangala. It’s a good deal for you. Just accept it!
