Manchester City defender Jason Denayer rejected offers from seven different teams across Europe during this transfer window in order to return to Galatasaray on loan, and the Turkish club announced on Wednesday that they were in talks with City to make the deal happen.
City initially wanted to sell Denayer, but they very quickly learned it wasn’t going to happen and accepted the fact the young Belgian would move on loan. A season at Girona was City’s original plan for the player, but Denayer made it clear he only wanted Galatasaray, and is looks as though Denayer will get his wish.
He made a trip to Turkey on Wednesday and today passed his medical at Galatasaray.

This deal should be official within the next few hours, so there’s no chance of a crazy turn of events in this story. Good luck in Turkey, Jason!
