Manchester City superstar Kevin De Bruyne has been nominated in the 30-player shortlist for this year’s Ballon d’Or Award.

De Bruyne finally gets some recognition for his amazing performances since joining City, and especially since Pep Guardiola became manager. Kevin really has developed into a true world-class midfielder, and there really aren’t many players in his position that are better than him.
It’s really hard to expect De Bruyne to actually win the Ballon d’Or given City didn’t win any titles this season and this is an award that’s basically won by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi every year forever, or until they decide to retire.
Congrats, Kevin! You’ll win this someday, I know it.
