Unfair.

Manchester City have failed to qualify for the FA Cup Final and will not face Chelsea at Wembley Stadium next month after losing to Arsenal in extra time on Sunday's semi-final. City could have won the game in the first 90 minutes, but failed to finish the job and lost in the extra period. No trophies this season.

FIRST HALF

City were on top from the start and created multiple chances to score throughout the half, but they couldn't find the goal because referee Craig Pawson wasn't having his best day, to say the least. He first missed a clear penalty by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Sergio Agüero, then agreed with his linesman when Leroy Sané's cross did not go out of play and resulted in a Raheem Sterling goal, but the goal was disallowed because someone saw the ball going out of play. Which did not happen.

At halftime, a fantastic City performance couldn't give them the win because of course.

SECOND HALF

Arsenal came back from the interval with more intensity and hunger, troubling City's defense with dangerous attacks and set pieces, but the Citizens used the counter attack to get the goal they deserved, and after a great long pass by Yaya Touré, Sergio Agüero put City ahead with an exceptional finish.

Arsenal came back and equalized with Nacho Monreal with 20 minutes to go, and we were in for a fantastic finish at Wembley. And we got it: Yaya Touré hit the post, Fernandinho hit the crossbar and Danny Welbeck nearly scored a great solo goal. Despite all the chances, the game ended in a draw, and we went to the extra 30 minutes to decided the winner.

EXTRA TIME

The extra period began with Alexis Sánchez scoring a big goal for Arsenal, and City had 20 minutes to equalize and send the game to penalties. They couldn't, however, and Arsenal get a completely undeserved victory that sends them to the final. That's football.
