Manchester City remain perfect in the 2016/17 season after defeating Swansea City in South Wales to win a sixth straight Premier League match, and the tenth in all competitions. It wasn't as easy or dominant as the other games, but the Citizens were efficient in front of goal and recorded a very important victory to stay at the top of the table for another month.

As usual, City players took to social media after the match. There wasn't too much activity this time around, since the players just wanted to get the hell out of South Wales after spending the last five days there, but some City stars did post nice pics and photos to their followers after the game:

John Stones and Raheem Sterling didn't tweet, but they did speak to the press after the game. The City defender spoke highly of his manager and teammates for their desire and character to chase a victory on Saturday, and Raheem Sterling praised Sergio Agüero for his performance at Liberty Stadium. Here's a rundown of their postgame quotes:

Stones

“He [Pep Guardiola] is very demanding. It’s good - it’s what we want - it rubs off in games. We’re demanding of each other and that shows on the pitch. We’ve just got to keep working hard and keep winning games. I thought the character of the boys was brilliant - the way we dug in and got the three goals.”

Sterling

“It’s an ever-growing relationship with the manager - not just with me but with everyone in the whole squad. He keeps giving us confidence and his motivation talks are really good. Everyone’s working really hard to try and win football matches and long may that continue.

“[Sergio Agüero] is great to play with - he’s a player that scores goals - he’s a player who makes chances and creates chances. Credit to him, he’s a great striker and a great finisher.”
