Pape Souare has taken part in a full Crystal Palace training session for the first time since breaking two bones in a serious car crash in September 2016 on the M4 motorway.

I know how hard it is to coach teams, because I'm a coach too,
said Palace boss Roy Hodgson after the game. He gets a lot of credit for that, because he deserves it.
I'm frustrated, because we created enough chances to win the game, but not too disappointed,
said Hodgson. When teams defend as well as Newcastle did, they will feel they deserved the bit of luck needed to get a point.
They were very well organised and disciplined and it wasn't easy to get through them,
said Hodgson. But I did think we did enough to get the goal that would have won the game, but the thing that pleased me was that games like that can often go against you.
