Crystal Palace are optimistic Christian Benteke
will be fit to return from his groin injury against Brighton on Saturday - but Roy Hodgson could face a tough decision over whether to play the misfiring striker or stick with Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend up front.
|We were disappointed by the penalty decision, but we hadn't been playing well,
Hodgson told Sky Sports. All first goals are decisive. Anyone who has seen the replay of the penalty will have seen what I have seen so there is no point commenting.
We, like the players, get caught up in the emotions,
Hodgson said. It is a heat of the moment thing.
We've created more goal chances at home than away,
We need points and we need results,
said Hodgson. If the players think it's going to be easier in some way, they are making a huge mistake and they will be told that.
